Middle eastern. In the ancient times they depict a darker skinned people in the lower kingdoms. So even they distinguished themselves from black. But they are def not European either.

@IAMMONARAHIMI Well they where Greek and Roman, so European. But the Egyptians had trade all over the Mediterranean. So it was a trade hub. But ethnically they can be grouped in with the middle east. Especially after the rise of Islam.

@canusernamebemyusername uhmm thered be no Europe without the middle easterns, Europe was poor and took/traded whatever they could from the middle (iran/Persia) eastern

@IAMMONARAHIMI Well I was just meaning the Egyptians wars with what is today Sudan, at the time Nubia. They would sometimes bring back POW's from those campaigns.
@IAMMONARAHIMI Yes the middle east was the center of trade for the whole Eurasian continent. One of the reasons it was fought over so much.
