They added a new feature that could in theory verify your photo on this website. Some of us who regularly do that anyway took the 5 minutes to do it. Many that enjoy their anonymity here fear it will make others doubt them. Others are truly afraid of possible safety & privacy hazards with this choice. Others think SW is demanding it so they’re having a rebellion which consists of doing what they did yesterday: not verifying the account. As well as expressing their upset with this addition. Many are about losing their minds over it. Others are operating as normal. Anyways it certainly made the day/ night more interesting to see the back and forth / debate etc
