Yes I do. I write one for each of my stepdaughters when it's their birthday.
Birthday cards doesn't always express the words I feel, so I write it.
I'm sure they don't care what I said, but only care for the amount of numbers on their check though. So I might be wasting my time, but, oh well.

@DefiantHeart Even if they don't care now, I'm sure one day they will. It's not the same to get a piece of paper filled with numbers and the one filled with honest thoughts and feelings.
