It depends on the date I suppose ... if they were very shy ... certainly . However, human nature tends to make people more attracted to someone that they percieve as “hard to get “.

It’s 2018, she can do whatever she wants. Even if it’s just a text to say “thank you, and I had a lovely time”.

I wouldn't say she Should be first, but doesn't Have to wait to be 2nd
