Put a picture up for an avatar and maybe interact with some of them through their posts first before messaging. Kinda helps let them suss you out a bit. That goes for everyone on SW though, regardless of gender. Having no avatar and/or a bare profile and/or being relatively new to SW gives people the idea you're not in it for innocent messaging lol.
