@math7 You don't think arrogance causes divorce? I am not sure how you could come to that conclusion. A sexually transmitted disease, while bad, is not the end of the world.

@math7 So lets say I agree that spousal cheating is the reason the vast majority of divorces. I don't know that I do, as I haven't seen any evidence, but lets go with it for now.

Spousal cheating does not equal promiscuity.

Cheating on your spouse happens for many many reasons, it's not just that one person in the relationship is promiscuous. The need for more emotional connection, the feeling that you are stuck, dead bedrooms, etc.
