Insults! We all get them

Do you take them on board to learn and grow or do you completely ignore them as people spin shit all the time?
Something in the middle?
Where is the line?
You can shut down what people have to say and never listen, some might call you arrogant,
Or you can take everything on board and grow to hate yourself.
Any thoughts?

I think it’s all about from whom it is coming and how often? Like, if it is a random person. Than be big and never respond neither get intimidated. If it is due to some sort of jealously. Don’t respond and keep a safe distance. Or if someone is just having an emotional burst? Be big and let it go too.

But if it is from a person who is around you for most part or involved in the circle, you too are involved. Than not drawing a red line is huge mistake. I guess having a consistent personality with consistent attitude towards life, will make others be watchful and respectful towards you. In my case this is what helping me. Remember there will always be some one who will be goof so be watchful.
