What's the worst injury you've had and how did it happen?

I went to church for a funeral and fell down the stairs breaking my ankle on both sides. I was in the hospital for emergency surgery, then off to a nursing home for Christmas 2 years ago. 💥😢I've never fully recovered from that fall.
