How would you feel if you were excluded from something and then a day later they remember you and say oh I can't forget you?

Would you feel bad that they didn't think of you from the start? Or would you be grateful that they remembered you a day later?

Need more details to know how I'd react, but most of the time I likely would be happier if they did forget me.
