As if California couldn't get any dumber

@Notmesam not talking chop shop. Imagine if you had a motor from a project car you want to sell. Legally cant do it anymore with a "license" fuck this state

@Notmesam my boss bought an arc welder over a decade ago, he buys and rebuilds cars....the business is in on the outskirts of the city but on a main road. One day he came to open the business and was greeted with local police, the sheriff, OSBI, news reporter vehicles, etc. The police had cut the lock off his gate and were inside dragging engines and such through the dirt. Apparently someone thought he was running a chop-shop and thought they'd get a Crimestoppers reward for turning him in. He spent the rest of the day opening up his file cabinets and presenting receipts and car titles for everything he had including tools he bought from flea markets (he got receipts for EVERYTHING)....WOW what a waste of tax money to run a sting on him, they could have walked up and pretended they wanted to buy a car and found out that he was legit.....
