Can I send the bill for my tire repair to my neighbor?

The people across the street are having work done on their house and there are nails all over the street. It's impossible to find all of them. I'm not the only person on my block to get a flat tire from this

Talk with the contractor - especially if there are still nails in the street. Call the number for the business so you know you're dealing with the owner. I bet you get reimbursed and the street gets cleaned up ;)

Can you prove the damage is from a nail from that neighbor?

Unlikely.

Ask a lawyer. .. they'll say no.

The contractor, if they have one... will have more representation. ...

.... if you send a bill...

Claiming accusations. .. you can get sued.

You might want to check out the legal responsibility. It might be more appropriate to sue the construction company in small claims court; take some pictures and some names.

The contractor needs to acquire a nail retriever which is a 2 foot wide magnet on wheels that he can run over the area and pick up nails
