@InOtterWords The technocrat in me also admires how many goals we score from pre set moves and set pieces. They specifically trained the box cross for Alis goal because their analysis correctly thought that would happen in the match. I think loftus cheek needs to start next game though because we need more in midfield against a better team.

Set pieces have been our strong point.....you should have seen me during the first game when Kane scored his second goal from a corner, I was yelling out "are you watching Hodgson"
The game today was such a clean game too, it was about football

@InOtterWords Yes. Sweden are boring but fair. Southgate has us punching above weight and this is no e after decades of underachieving.

I do think France and Belgium have better players. Our youth teams are excellent so we will have a stronger squad in four and eight years time.
