@SW-User the major blow to modern diesels is compliance to environmental emissions laws, imo they are rigged to favour petrol over diesel and electric over petrol.

@SW-User yeh that might be a problem for pure ev's that is why hydrogen fuel cell is one option but I highly doubt it will be available everwhere coz lack of hydrogen fuel stations
