People still find the odd cannonball in marshes and woods around here once in awhile.

@MethDozer The grave markers are so old now I can hardly read the names. I'd have to do rubbings.

Speaking of graves. There is one that just got discovered from the battle I mentioned about 12 years ago. Crazy how all these years latter still find new ones.

Ah gotcha! Yes ! I'm in New Orleans where the war of 1812 ended

There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago

On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

@MethDozer Archaeologists found an ancient indian village nearby about 10-15 years ago

@SW-User oh cool. Does your area have those old earth mound things scattered around that were old Indian cooking ovens too? I forget what they are called.
