@Azrael I love watching the history channel and learning interesting tidbits about those kinds of things. Memorizing names and dates for a test just never appealed to me.
@AcidBurn The memorizing dates stuff is bullshit and a bad way to teach it. What happened is only so interesting. -Why- it happened is where you get into the good stuff and to me what makes someone interesting and worthwhile as a historian.
