I’ve decided to go completely off grid, so recently I’ve been doing some serious research as to what it would take and how to be smart about it. It’ll be a while before I leave but I’ll be prepared when I do.

@GlitterBug Never do anything in the extreme. Moderation is key.

@GlitterBug if you go off grid will you keep in touch withn loved ones and how?
GlitterBug · 26-30, F
@therighttothink50 it’s not actually all that extreme for me. The only major things that would change is access to technology, the location and being self sufficient. The lifestyle I’m looking into is one I’m familiar with to a point. I’m looking forward to it

@GlitterBug Interesting. Why do you wish to do this? In what state do you live? Do you think you can realistically be self-sustaining? And live without people? You are so young. But I dig the idea.

@GlitterBug The grid will always have an effect upon all of us , when they go 5G alotta people's health will be destroyed.

@naturegirlUK Ideally I’ll work out a way to make money before I get there and I’ll be able to afford to travel and see them. We’ve even had conversations about them coming with me, which would be wonderful

@therighttothink50 they said that about Micro wave ovens

@GlitterBug Sounds good. Can you keep me informed? I am curious.

A lot of reasons, I’ve never had a whole lot to do with society I guess, I don’t care for people, I keep to myself, I like farm work and the animals, growing things etc. I live in the desert of New Mexico and for obvious reasons plan to relocate, I’ve yet to decide where would be the smartest. I think with careful planning I can for sure be self sustaining. I’d be in reasonable distance to a town in case of emergencies mainly but I’m sure I’d take regular trips to get a change of scenery, socialize a bit with the locals. :)@PoetryNEmotion

@therighttothink50 yes that is unfortunate and I am aware. Only grid or government thing I’ll really have to deal with will have to do with the land and what I build on it, regulations and all that

Sure, if you’d like. I won’t have any major updates for a long while, I’m only educating myself for now but if you have questions I’ll do my best to answer them as they come @PoetryNEmotion
