Not at all. It’s designed to be taken anyway lol.

@SW-User No. it is meant to be given, not taken.

@Serenitree What I meant was that hymen was designed to be broken lol
Serenitree · F
@SW-User Yes. That is true. But virginity has little to do with an intact hymen. In fact you can break that in a fall, or horseback riding. Or any number of accidental ways.

Virginity has more to do with never having been engaged in any kind of sexual activity. You can still have an intact hymen, but not be a virgin.

You know, Bill Clinton said he didn't have sex with Monica Lewinski, because he never had put his penis into her vagina. But, he was lying. Sex is sex, no matter how it is performed.

@Serenitree I see. That makes sense. But my comment was in no way about a girl’s virginity taken away without her consent :P Sorry if it confused you

I guess,if you have morals
Serenitree · F
@SW-User Not confused. I just prefer the idea of a woman giving herself than being taken. It's very much like the question when did you lose your virginity? Losing something, implies irresponsibility or accidental loss. I say, I didn't lose it. I gave it willingly to the man I loved.

@Serenitree That’s one way to look at the question. Although I don’t think that’s how the question works because the person who asks doesn’t necessarily mean virginity being taken away without consent lol. It can just mean “When did you stop having your virginity?” Lol
Serenitree · F
@SW-User I understand. It's all semantics, but words are my passion, and the meanings matter to me. I've lost money, and I've given money away. I prefer giving it.

I've made love and I've had sex forced on me when I was too tired or sick, but my partner at the time didn't care. Making love is nice.

I know that others don't seem to think anything of saying virginity (as in innocence) was taken or lost. And I find it strange that a person's innocence is the only thing that those words are used for where it doesn't seem like a wrongness.

You have your possessions taken or lost, you're upset. Money tv phone computer. It's all a terrible violation.

Innocence? Meh!

Sorry. I'm terribly picky about how words are used. My family is used to it by now. Strangers just find me weird or pushy.
