Anyone Else From Texas See This Change?

Texas gets a bad rap for being mostly red...but it is becoming increasing blue state. It is a melting pot of all types of people. Take it from someone that has lived here his entire life. I want to keep it red but there is strong liberal base here.

I’m in Tyler. What area are you all in? I could see Austin and the bigger cities making slight changes toward blue because so many goddam Californians are headed here, but rural areas are pretty red and I don’t see that changing any time soon

@Slappaho I'm north of Dallas. the big cities like Dallas, Houston, Austin and to a lesser extent San Antonio have been more blue than red for years. Tyler, I haven't been to Tyler in close to 40 years. The burbs are still very red and smaller cities too. The thing is, the Dallas metroplex has probably more people outside the city as inside. That's why the state is still red.

@katielass that's why I LOVE Arlington and Ft Worth better than Dallas

@Scubaguy027 I was born and raised in north Dallas not far from where the Bush's live now. They didn't live here then but I can't stand Dallas. I don't even want to drive through it. I don't know anything about Ft. Worth, we kind of forget it's there. lol
