Minimalism kinda defeats it’s own purpose, imo. It’s trying to show how material goods are unnecessary or devalue them by implying that they’re bad for the soul, but at the same time, they’re still keeping some material goods. By inclusion of these goods in their life, they’re essentially saying that goods are necessary or good for the soul.
