Is it above $10,000.00 you pay tax or is $18,200.00?

My lecturer in accounting said something like this I think???

$12,000 if your talking after deductions, if you mean to file its around 6k. 18 ish as head of household. after what you get back from deductions

you still pay, but when you file you should gat back all payed up to this point.

joint is 24k i belive

but these change everyyear.

Thats zero balance after standard deduction and personal exemption not including dependents
