I had an unsettling experience yesterday. After lunch in a fusion cafe with friends, in an upscale plaza in the extremely liberal sanctuary city where I live, two of us went outside...she smoked and I vaped.

A man and woman approached us, although she stayed back a few feet, not as though she wasn’t interested but as though she wasn’t worthy. He asked my friend for a cigarette and stood and talked while he smoked.

In the time it took for him to smoke the cigarette, he informed us of an’operations training camp’ in our state where he and others prepared for the coming conflict (unspecified combatants but made fairly clear by other comments), about how a nearby larger city was falling to the hoodlums of a particular race, how it was necessary to be ready to battle for your own race.

Dear God.

I do not believe that piece of human waste is indicative of anything but his own mental disease, but it’s certain he’s not the only one. I made it clear I thought he was mad and walked away. But it shook me. It’s not as bad as I’m told but it’s not as good as I would like to think.

It sounds like fear and a lack of faith in the powers that be. As well as perhaps some trained soldiers have difficulty when back in civvy street and are basically trained to fight and have no war to fight so make one. Like Rambo.
@CathyUK I very much doubt that guy was ever a soldier. I have no proof either way...but most of the former or current soldiers I’ve known did not talk like him.
