She feels swipe as a request for immediate caps lock, so when I write fast, I put a lot of strange keys in here...

@HappyHubby true - i am not saying there aren't those who do it willingly - and its not necessary that the adult initiates it - sometimes the children do too - looking at their parents doing similar things they get confused - its the adults responsibility to guide the child and not give in.

i have grown up around this and am a part of the system myself - a contributor - looking back i guess i wouldn't want it for any other kid to be true but its not something i can control

It makes me sad...

@HappyHubby it may seem really sad on one side of it - but on the other hand it is kind of a way of life in rural india - having been on both sides of the discussion i can tell why either side feels the way they do but its hard to break something thats become a way of life for people really
