@SW-User and India's the 2nd most populous country in the world - some of the states here - even smaller ones have populations the size of small countries.

@SW-User hehe yeah actually - its easy to get yourself lost in the crowd over here - China's got more people but also more area - so you don't see the kind of density as much i suppose but i am none the wiser about China.
India has definitely got a lot of people though - 23 million people use the Indian rail network on any given day - that again is a mind boggling figure. But at the end of the day - you do see that there are more people - its just you dont' understand the gravity that those numbers mean.
