It's a part of hitting reply. I'm not gonna take the time to change the way i do things or delete text for some dude on the internet. I imagine many feel the same. Suck to be you bro.

When I go to respond to someone though I’m on a touchscreen and it starts writing before the @ and if I try to click after it it just highlights the whole thing. It’s not by choice
