@Columbianpoppies hmm well hormones could definitely throw things out of whack, but should be able to be fixed with med adjustment or changes. Steroids can do crazy things to your body but should never be used experimentally unless it's an emergency. Steroids are sometimes needed for inflammation, asthma or other breathing problems.
