@issues My daughter rescued him a year and a half ago. His previous people moved away and left him behind. I'm sure he was cared for, but maybe they couldn't find him when the truck came. I don't understand it at all, but when my daughter found him freezing and nothing but fur stretched over a skeleton, she couldn't leave him there to die. He was obviously loved, because he is so affectionate, and vocal. His meows almost sound conversational. I can hear consent, dissent, questioning, exclamations. He responds to questions with seemingly appropriate tone of voice. Strange man. When she brought him home, she put the carrier on the floor and opened the door, and he came out cautiously, sniffing and looking around, then he saw me. His whole body language changed. He stood up straight, looked at me with wide eyes and yelled. Then he ran to me, and jumped on my lap and that's where he's been sleeping every night since. Misty isn't even jealous. She just shifts aside a bit and makes room for Tommy.
