in laundromats yes, thieves will pick out the new denim items when you leave for a few minutes, I guess they take them to consignment stores to sell....at home it's the small socks that come up missing, they float up to the top and get sucked down between the liner and the drum....machine maintenance people find gobs of them stuck there

@cherokeepatti I never knew that. I keep letting them be lost and blame the supernatural lol
