Some people use both sides of the brain. So yes, possible.

@Flenflyys Ah, I think the questioner meant dominated. Some people are equally dominated by both sides.

@SW-User She's right

@SW-User can you explain? There are specific structures for specific purposes and people can’t just opt not to use them because they only use one side of their brain.
celine211 · 22-25, F
@SW-User do you mean the creative/artistic and the other scientific/mathematical/logical side of the brain?
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
@celine211 there is not specific part of the brain for any of those. They use multiple structures all over the brain.
celine211 · 22-25, F
@Flenflyys There is a psychological theory or hypothesis (haven't looked much into it ) that says that people who have a dominant left hemisphere are more mathemetical,logical,objective etc while does that are right-brained are more intuitive,subjective, imaginative etc
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
Thats an outdated and false opinion.

@Flenflyys yeah but i was asking if she was referring to it

@Flenflyys I wasn't aware that theory has been debunked. The idea of left VS right brain dominance still seems to persist in a lot of non educational material. But I've just read up on and you are right.
