What do you think of Dr. Phil?

I guess he has helped a lot of people over the years. Somehow to me he comes across rather pompous and arrogant. Thoughts?

after what he said about kanye i think the guy is crazy himself.
@badapple What did he say about Kanye ?
@bijouxbroussard in-powering white supremacy really.
Wow...Dr. Phil is more tuned in than I thought. I totally agree with that.
nah. cnn keeps on referring to slavery. kanye was talking about putting the past away like the here and now. about holding onto the past. so phil has it wrong. if you ever seen the kanye rant.
@badapple That’s not the only thing Kanye’s said, though, and at one point he was trying to market Confederate flag wear. If he wants to play the UT so he can hang with the Kardashians and Trump, that's his business. But he does empower white supremacists who may think he speaks for all of us.
he never said anything about confederate flag. i watched the video.
@badapple I’m not talking about one video.
but thats what doctor phil was talking about was that video. but never seen or heard of kanye accepting that.
@badapple That’s why I said Dr. Phil is more tuned in than I thought .

@bijouxbroussard When I heard the rant, I thought he’s off his rocker. Then I was curious about what other people were saying and just looking at comments to his rant ( I spent too much time reading them) but what immediately struck me was how the white supremists came out in droves to say, “see, Kanye gets it.” I don’t think Kanye meant what he said literally, I think his meaning was completely lost on many by the words he used and no matter how he back pedals, he’s already done so much damage. I do think his behavior is erratic and he’s not completely stable. I’m not sure if he’s always been this way or if his success and fame have contributed to the inflation of his ego so much that his reality is altered but the man needs to consider the consequences of his words before he opens his mouth.
@Winenot no his message was on stopping the hate

@badapple That’s not what I took away from that video.
thats exactly what he was talking about. im surprised so many people try to twist things to support their thought.
Winenot · 51-55, F
@badapple Well as I said that’s not what I took away from that video. I don’t remember hearing “stop the hate” but I only listened to it twice when it first happened. As for twisting, well that’s your interpretation or your own “twist” on things.
he did. he was trying to push love. he even ask the guys about hate. tmz was trying to twist the video.

@badapple Well I cant argue and don’t really want to because I could not say exactly what he said. (By the way, I don’t think he truly meant slavery didn’t happen.) I still think his message was poorly delivered. I won’t even try to deny TMZ may have manipulated what he said.
no he was referring to now a days how people are holding onto the past and expressing that anger still. that people are shackling to that and holding that against people. and yes i think some of his words were poorly stated.
@badapple Is he critical of the people who want keep the Confederate monuments and memorials standing, as a “testament to Southern heritage” ? If he has been equally critical, I haven’t been aware of it. He’s pandering to his white fans (and probably his white family members). And that makes him a hypocrite. Because it is all part of the same legacy of hatred that we didn’t start. It’s like the morons who think trying to claim the “n-word” can somehow take the power out of it when white supremacists are still using it as an epithet.
he's never said anything about confederacy. need to drop that. but as for the confederate statues being destroyed that was all democrats because of their history. them calling a guy a racist when their party background is racist.
@badapple He has. He had a clothing line. You need to educate yourself. And ask yourself, if this is part of today's Democrats, why are the Republicans celebrating it so hard ? And why are today's leaders of the KKK all Republicans and Trump supporters ?
and this is part of the reason i hate political parties. well part of it i think theres is a group of people who are against mexicans. and they want something done with immigration i think that is why some people voted for trump.
sorry did a search cant find any info on your claim that the kkk is republican.
@badapple Yes, of course. Trump used racism and xenophobia to win their votes. Some people were lulled into thinking he only meant "illegal immigrants". Maybe his comments about wanting legal immigrants to come here from "places like Norway" rather than "sh*thole countries" woke a few of them up. He couldn't have been any clearer.
he has no filter that is true. but i dont think the shithole was aimed at race rather how the country is ran.
@badapple David Duke (the KKK leader) is a strong supporter of Trump as are his followers.
