I try to visit her each weekend. Sometimes it's hard. Those places are so depressing and it's tough seeing her like this. There are days I walk out of there in tears

Make sure they treat her well. My grandmother went to one, before she died. They mistreated her quite badly. We found out afterwards that a lot of nursing homes are pretty shitty.
