@bonviveur @Graylight Mmmhmm...you two aren't over. Not even close. I'm sure mistakes were made by both of you. No one is without fault. God knows I've made my share of grave mistakes. You probably wouldn't even be talking to me right now if you knew some of them. You're both very intelligent women. You know the work that needs to done. Get busy, ladies. There's too much love between you two to let your egos get in the way. ✌
@Odette We all make mistakes, and life is too short for either regret or bad feelings toward others. All is well, and the future holds what it holds. Laughter is cathartic.

No worry, no egos here. And grave mistakes... oh, yes, I’ve made a few. But I have no regrets. They’ve been the very source of the lessons and blessings in my life. And as for your grave mistakes, I’m sure I’d be right there with you. Among friends, it’s all good. I’ll take a quote from Steel Magnolias and with a deep Southern drawl... “if you can’t say anything nice about anybody, come sit by me.” (Clairee/Olympia Dukakis)
You must know of the crush someone here has for you... and while I find you fetching, spirited, intelligent, feisty and fun (yes, I’ve taken a peek around), it isn’t me who has the crush and is frolicking around SW impressing the pants off women here (literally and figuratively speaking) and pissing off some of those narrow-minded and deplorable repugnacans. (I just came up with that. I think I like it). And with her “liaisons” here, she earned her badges for much of her antics and, let’s just say, extracurricular activities. I will always say she’s the most intelligent woman I have ever met, but her mistake was two-fold; not realizing an online session can auto-recover (thanks to Brighthouse/Spectrum or Speculum as I like to call them) and, two, thinking I had no clue or any savvy when it came to systems and cloud-based tools. Funny how life can turn on a dime... and all that can change in a year’s time. And so, in my attempts to not hate SW, I’m trying to have a little bit of fun here. I’m actually enjoying myself. I do hope to see you around. I like the way you take on some of the ridiculous and woefully ignorant characters here. Kudos to you. *nods and raises a glass* 🍸 Cheers!

@Graylight Always have been, always will be... wordy. Clear sign I’m not in to social media and sites like SW. Thanks for the intro, though. And I’m having a hard time recalling, was it a 3 or 4 page letter? She counted and called me eloquent. Hmmm.
And you? Well, I know you get bored and move on easily if someone doesn’t keep your interest. You were always in to so many other flavors other than vanilla anyway.
@bonviveur Graylight has always been very respectful towards me. She never once crossed the line. If anyone had a crush, it would be me for her. I admire her exceptional kindness, extraordinary intelligence and devilish clever way of saying things. I don't know what happened, but she made it abundantly clear her desire to salvage the relationship between you two if at all possible. You seem like a very nice lady who's every bit as witty and clever as your S.O.. I honestly believe it would be one of those "grave mistakes" if you two gave up on each other.
Hey, I have an idea!! Maybe you two should have a heavy make out session for a couple of hours, or longer. It might give you both clarity to figure things out. 😏
@Odette Thank you so very much for the kind words. You're very sweet. And more importantly, extraordinarily diplomatic and respectful. All of what you said is precisely what I know of Graylight as well. Life is hard. There are no handbooks to guide us or any crystal balls to give us insight on the future and what it has in store for us.
I am coming to find a few more folks here who are truly exceptional amid the incessant trolls and tools in this pool. And you, I think, are one... and I thank you for saying what you did, especially since you didn't have to. But it's much appreciated.
No one knows precisely how this story will end, but its a good one and with good people involved. This I know. And what a unique and truly remarkable story it is.
