If there was one thing you wish your parents had supported of you, what was it?

For me, I wish they had bought me a guitar when I asked for one at age 15

I feel so deprived. The only times my parents didn't support me were times when it turned out they were right all along. God, I hate having great parents! I can't blame them for anything that goes wrong in my life!

When it comes to learning musical instruments, it takes a long time (for many). I really wish my parents supported my wanting to learn the guitar back then because I would be damn good at it by now!

@Phire1 I still want to learn to play the guitar! My brother plays and I always think it's so soothing to listen. And it's like a requirement if you have a bonfire that someone plays a guitar!

@Phire1 the problem is, it's one of those things you have to practice like crazy and it takes years to be good at it. :)
