@akindheart One of my earliest memories is hearing President Truman talking on the radio about the employment problem of soldiers returning from WWII. He used a swear word, and our housekeeper dived at the radio and turned it off, horrified that I had heard the improper language. She said, "The president shouldn't talk like that!" Of course, thanks to her, I now remember it vividly.
