@Fluffy407 People who exploit the "casting couch" and turn around and scream rape are the monsters. There are victims, but the victims need to go straight to the hospital and get swabbed. Some of this "me too" crap is exploitation and hypocrisy. How did Woody Allen or Pollansky come out smelling like a rose????????

Speaking from personal experience, the body and the mind don’t necessarily know what the hell is going on after a rape. It’s all you can do to breathe. And you want these women to have the wherewithal to go to the hospital and get swabbed? Some with the words, “you wanted this” or “no one will believe you “ or “you’re disgusting and no one will ever love you” ringing fresh in their ears?
And what happens if they were roofied? What happens if they have no memory of it? What happens if the rapist made them go take a shower, or didn’t leave them alone for days at a time afterward. Do you even know what the backlog is on rape cases? There are rape cases that have been sitting in the shelves, yet to be identified, that our years and years old.
If you haven’t been through this, don’t pretend that you have any idea what is happening. It takes some people years to come to terms with, and admit to themselves, what has occurred. It is actually something that is scientifically proven. Our minds do things without our consent, to protect us from horrible evils. There are any number of reasons why a woman doesn’t immediately go to the hospital after a rape. You do not get to be judge and jury on how a rape survivor acts. You weren’t there. @puck61
