Nope, I glaze over at the "dream" sale that MLMers tend to use. I worked with a young lady who trashed a consulting career with selling for a certain MLM and it wasn't about product sales, just recruitment.
@toddr13 I guess the money is NOT in the product but rather recruitment

@Coyotedave611 Yes, and success tools, seminars, and trips to rallies with like-minded people under the same leadership organization, never across lines, only discussing with the upline. It's crazy, from the glimpse I had of that world from my friend who tried to recruit me.
Good grief, I thought being a marketing director for our hospital district was complicated, from what you are saying, makes my job sound like a hotdog vendor!

@Coyotedave611 Oh yes, and the top level make all the money, not from product commissions, but from the marketing tools that they peddle at overpriced rates to the downline.
Does this methodology apply to all the various companies?

I am not sure if they have the same methodology. I know that different groups within the MLM she was with operated differently, too, with some more retail and product focused. Hers was more to the "dream" and selling success with ostentatious displays of wealth from the upper end, or I should say perceptions of wealth.
One of my staff has been trying to get me interested in Arbonne, from what you are saying, think I'll (very gently) bow out Thanks a lot!

Yes, you're welcome. It's a lot of running around for not much reward.
