Do You Believe In High Speed Rail?

The privately owned line in Florida is not doing too well. Many people have already been hit by it. They have been discussing one here in Texas for service between large cities, it too would be privately owned.

Why do people keep getting on the rails? Nevermind, it's Florida.

@TXGUY44 But to answer, yes, I like high-speed rails. They aren't really utilized here in America, but in other countries it's actually pretty nice to be able to get on the rails with a book and in a couple hours come out in a different province or the other side of the country. Heck, depending on how far you're going it might only take minutes.

@TXGUY44 And now that I think about it it's kind of a shame. We pioneered the use of rails to connect our country here in America and now we let the idea gather dust on the shelf. A train from LA to Vegas would be great, profitable too I bet. Head to Vegas, gamble, get smashed, no problem, you're not driving. Hop on the train and get back to LA in a couple hours.

@Xuan12 I can get from my city in the north to the capital in the south in 2 hours 6 minutes. That used to be a trip that you set aside most of a day to make.
