i don't trust those places.
not even just regular places where you get accustomed to someone and think you're becoming friends.
there's risks then when ya think maybe possibly sort you have something .. you find out it was a fake all along.

it's not good out there... but once in a blue moon i hear of good risks, mostly sites like FB, SW (yeh, really?) EP (yeh, imagine that but all gone now) yahoo one time, i met a few there but not for love. (and i had to know them for many, MANY years.
some folks try their local news agency through patch and chit chat.
oh there's.... eh.... craigslist but that is an atrocity.
there's still meetup, where you get an account and chit chat then every month? or whatever you can reserve to meet the group you associate with somewhere tangile, legit, supposedly safe an take risk that way.
