Who’s the best person you’ve ever known

My dad. We had a lifetime of adventures together

Besides Jesus, my father. 😄 Such an honorable man. Never told a lie.

There have been quite a few nice people. I should make mention of one man though who saved my life about 11 yrs ago without even realising it. He did what he did out of pure Human kindness. Two years later he died leaving me feeling really sad but still grateful.

Not somebody I knew but who lived in the same village as me about 15 years ago.
A lot of people are described as heroes, sportsmen which is a real joke, fire fighters, the police the military ok some times they do stuff that is heroic in the line of their jobs which they
get paid for. This woman was about 60 and out for a walk with her grandchild when a tractor mounted the pavement and went straight for them, she picked up the child and threw him over a wall. Her legs were crushed by the vehicle. I'd heard about this but only at the village fete did I see her in a wheelchair both legs gone from above the knee.

My mom. She's leaves her mark on people. Just has an energy that is always open and welcoming. She's unjaded and unburdened. Which is amazing to me given all she's endured.

My grandmother. Truly the kindest person I ever knew. She volunteered and did things for others well into her 70s until she passed away at 79. Someone asked her why she didn’t just “take it easy”, why keep volunteering ? She replied, “because I still can, so why not ?”

My momma!! She was a breath of fresh air, kind and had time for everyone. All the kids on our road water to be her when we were playing hospital games as she was a nurse.💚
