Yep. Often.
Give out unexpired Parking tickets, let shop keepers keep the change....
Last week we gave a stranger a free ride for an hour long trip that was gonna cost him $250 with Uber. He was pretty stoked.

Paying for other yuppies coffee in Starbucks isnt exactly my idea as paying it forward but buying the guy standing outside begging for money something to eat is
SW-User
@Jibby I think like this too.
I make very little money and I don't ask anyone to buy my coffee for me.
Jibby · 56-60, C
@SW-User yes what prompted me to say this is there was a story in Florida they were making such a big deal because people in Starbucks were buying the person behind them whatever they were ordering. And really all it was is who is going to break the chain and look like a dick head with a TV crew there. And one of the yuppies actually exclaimed with excitement this really is a Christmas miracle. That's when I know how disgusting the world really became
SW-User
Yes. I bought groceries for someone
SW-User
Nah, if they are in line for coffee they must have money to pay for it themselves....I work too hard and get too little to do meaningless gestures like that.
If they needed food or clothing and I can help, then I have and will.
I think this is cool to share...walking ny dogs I found a guy lying face down in gravel in 30 deg weather..got him up, asked what he'd taken . heroin. I bought him lunch, located a bed for him in a shelter, gave him bus fare to get there. That same day I walked to the grocery store and bought too much - couldn't carry it home! about 2 minutes heroin guy showed up. asked if I needed help, and carried groceries home for me. Almost instant Karma.

@Mamapolo2016 This makes sense but buying someone their coffee when they can themsleves is not my idea of lending a helping hand.
@SW-User Mist of us have our own ways

Yes. I drive an 18wheeler. A car let me into the lane they were in on a toll road. I paid the toll for them.
Something like that, yes
SW-User
Yes, I have. But not coffee. Like surfcrab, if I see someone in need of a decent meal, I always buy them whatever they want to eat.

@SW-User I just lost my faith in humanity I'm so distraught I'm not playing tennis today
SW-User
@Jibby Good. I'll take your place on the court. Can I borrow your balls?
Jibby · 56-60, C
@SW-User hey it's a three piece set baby what is the big guy in the middle an orphan or something?
MrAboo · 36-40, M
Some one did that for me and I later did it for some one else. I don’t think they did it for anyone after that though. They weren’t greatful as I remember
@MrAboo Perhaps you don't have a good heart for others.
MrAboo · 36-40, M
I really don’t care. I fulfilled my promise so fuck off.
@MrAboo Ah now I see why the problem. You're a complete asshole.
bowman81 · M
I have not....but I have paid for people I have struck up a conversation with while waiting in line.

I once received a free coffee and breakfast bagel from the person in front of me at a McDonalds drive through window.
@bowman81 were you by chance driving a marked car at the time?
bowman81 · M
