I heard that the night before Nixon resigned he was advised to do so by Kissinger because if there was an impeachment process many others would be exposed and many lives ruined. @hippyjoe1955

@softspokenman Your point is? This post is about the FBI in case you hadn't noticed. Nixon is long resigned and dead. The FBI is still compiling secret dossiers on people it doesn't like. Please try to stay on topic.

@softspokenman You must be an American to be so blissfully unaware of how long it would have taken to impeach Nixon. BTW impeachment does not remove a president from office. Clinton was impeached but finished his term.
