There seem to be two subjects which are almost guaranteed to lead to nastiness - politics and religion. Is it impossible for people to listen calmly

to views they disagree with and maybe even discover a seed of doubt in their own beliefs?

It's possible for me, because I don't know everything yet. If both sides could be respectful, yea, it would be possible.

@Mamapolo2016 I find that those of us who think they know the most often know the least. And yes, it is about respect.

@alan20 It isn't might that makes right anymore, it's volume. If I can yell louder, I win.
