Ever do the right thing and still feel like crap?

Absolutely.

Often.
But never sorry in the long run for doing so.
Nat15 · F
@SW-User Yeah... I know.
Peppa · 31-35, F
A lot of the time. I was told it's because I'm looking for a reward. Which honestly I can't say is true. I spend more time now thinking about not always doing what's expected and I feel less crap. Whilst everyone around me suffers.

@Peppa is the “right thing” what’s expected?
Nat15 · F
You've gotta do what's best for you! @Peppa

Absolutely. Sometimes the right thing doesn’t make everything better, it’s simply the right thing. But in the long run as a lifestyle, you can count on less drama and more peace.
Nat15 · F
@trackman11 I think that's probably right.
It might be the right thing for me, but not necessarily someone else. It's that discrepancy that makes me feel bad.
Nat15 · F
@WatercolourWildFlowers But I'm not sure what's truly right cares one way or the other. Might have bad consequences for you but still be the right thing.

It's called getting uncomfortable
