What are some things to put in a child's Easter basket besides candy?

I was gonna make one for my nieces. I don't want them to have candy. I don't know what to put besides some little books and maybe crayons...ideas?

Get some large plastic eggs (the split ones that open) and fill with mini puzzles, Lego figurines, road chalk, temp tattoos etc
