New one on a 4 year PCP agreement which allows me to change it after a 3 year period, you have to make sure you get your average annual mileage right though. Just like your mobile phone contract.
New! If you can wait till April 1, all makes has their vehicles discounted with lots of rebates. You'll just about pay the same price for a new car as you would for used.
Go with certified pre-owned, most dealerships have cars like that. I bought my car in 2009 and it is a 2009 car, but was pre-owned. They still gave me the warranty just like a new car has, but I didn't take the loss for it being a brand new car, and it only had 3000 miles on it. I will never buy new again because of the loss you are forced to take as soon as you drive away.
@prsunshine2929 If you are in the US demand a Car Fax report, it shows if the car has been in an accident or not. Go to a big dealership, like a brand name dealership, they have the certified cars, and their reputation relies on that. A small dealership isn't going to have that, and will tell you anything to sell the car. The big dealerships may also call these cars pre-owned as well.
My only fear is that once I had bought a used one that looked and I was told was like brad new... only to find out it had had multiple serious accidents @neeneen
