Ok my girlies......

Any one of you ladies have weird emotional crap after having your Mirena or similar IUD implanted?

I want to blame it on my period but I don't get depressed or have crying fits for no reason just from that.

My mirena turned me into a crazy woman I had it removed and became normal me again

Nope, my mirena was the best thing to happen to me, but then again I had it implanted to control some symptoms of PCOS

@EllaDisenchanted That could be just the initial settling down part and I did feel a bit weird to begin with. Your body is aware that there is a foreign body and is trying to decide whether it's alright or not. I'd give it a week or two and you should hopefully be fine. If not, make sure you go back to your doctor though x
@WelshLovely Utah, I was told I wouldn't be able to feel it but it honestly feels like I lost a tampon or something. Doctor checked just in case yesterday and said I was fine.

@EllaDisenchanted it's probably because you're so focused on it being there. I found that if I got on with doing something, I'd completely forget about it

I get really emotional during my periods. I never thought about linking it to my IUD though.
Yikes. I've never used it and I never will
@DarlingSelah I didn't want to either. It's for lack of other options healthwise and I'm already regretting it but really no choice.
How long have you had it, I already get hugely emotional during that time
@InOtterWords Last Monday
@EllaDisenchanted it takes a few months to settle
