Love the rain for listening to as I fall asleep and for walking in when it’s warm.

In summer I love a heavy down pour after a hot day....when the raindrops soak the parched earth, and in spring time the light, misty type of rain blowing with the freshness of the spring breeze...rain is breathtaking at anytime.

Yessss. I love it. So calming, and it cleans the air while it's raining so my allergies actually stop for a bit. Which is a welcome respite.

Except when it rains 16 inches in 3 hours or 51 inches in 3 days, like it did on us during Hurricane Harvey.

Where we live it's wall to wall sunshine, so rainy, calm grey days are sometimes a welcome relief.
