i wouldnt call that narcissism. narcissist dont care about peoples feelings.

i dont think you know the definition of a narcissist: The hallmarks of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) are grandiosity, a lack of empathy for other people, and a need for admiration. People with this condition are frequently described as arrogant, self-centered, manipulative, and demanding.

@badapple Its you who doesn't understand. First of all, they do not all completely lack empathy. They can certainly feel sympathy. Second, just because you don't feel for someone's emotions, doesn't mean you don't care about them. Their emotions can affect your life. Which is why many act to get by.
