Either that or they come from an area where colonialism ravaged their culture and natural resources leaving them in permanent poverty. You know, like most of the globe.

@WindOfAdolf Would we? Considering that coastal China is as capitalist as can be I suspect Korea would have done just fine. But then again, Communism would have taken route at all if the French hadn't subjugated us and left when the resources we're cleared out.
