go to school, get a good job, stay away from drugs and excess amounts of alcohol. watch who you put your time into, a lot men will only want one thing and leave. watch who you trust for friends, not everyone that acts friendly for a time being is a friend. save, save, save, save. spending on needs out weighs on buying frivolous things that one doesnt need.

@badapple I can literally write these things down everyday and try and stick to them. Or read them from a comment. I'm referring to a physical commitment of meeting/talking to someone about it.

I'm already a college graduate and work 2 jobs.
well then you seem to be already better off. why would you want someone to be a life coach?

@badapple i think mostly because of finances. I think what I'm looking for is someone to help coach me to keep saving or something. Since I make pretty good money I tend to spend a lot more than usual.

So finances and mentality is what I'm looking for in a life coach.
so you need another parent

@SaraxKay you mentioned being a college grad and congrats. Go back to you school and talk to career services. They should have someone there to help with finances, or at least be able to refer you to someone. I say this because my school has this.

@iamnikki Someone to help you with savings, investing and all that stuff you say?

@badapple I guess that's how you'd put it. I've been pretty much trying to learn life on my own and so far I've been doing okay i just need to understand more.
have you ever tried the envelope method? thats where you take several envelopes, write what your bills are for that month, a couple of extra envelopes for things you are saving for or one for savings. put money in the envelopes each week for the bills that need to be paid. see how much money is left after the month in the savings. keeping your money separated into categories will help you not spend the money that needs to be paid for certain expenses.

@badapple My God, I've never thought about something like that. That's actually a smart idea.

@SaraxKay yes. My school offers finacial help. Investing and stuff. I need to start investing myself.. I'm sure someone there can help
