Putting therm in the past, so much so that they were insignificant. And then being a better person than they ever were.
@Sowji Not always but it can be done. Sometimes easily, sometimes not. Forgiving and forgetting generally break down along the lines of sex,- no not gender.
Her- she will forgive, and rather easily if one is deserving of it and if they ask for it. And often if they are not around TO ask for it. She does that very well. She sees it as "moving on" "Putting the past in it's place"
But forget- AH! She NEVER will forget. Ever.
Him- He cant remember what he had for supper on Monday! (This is Thursday) Forgetting, that is easy for him. Also "putting the past behind him"
Forgive- really forgive and not just talk of it? That is VERY hard for him. Almost impossible. No matter how devout.
